Make the visible and invisible load clearer — responsibilities, decisions, admin, unfinished things and things that somehow only you know about.
Work out what really needs you
Separate what genuinely requires the founder from what could be delegated, shared, systemised, simplified, postponed or stopped.
Reduce the decision pile
Look at where decisions are accumulating and create clearer ownership, rules or defaults where that would remove unnecessary demand.
Sort the practical pressure
Diary, inbox, paperwork, filing, information, open loops or accumulated admin can all become part of the work when they are consuming disproportionate headspace.
Build systems that reduce dependency on you
The aim isn’t more elaborate process for its own sake. It’s creating enough structure that fewer things depend on you personally remembering, chasing or holding them together.
Protect some capacity
Create clearer boundaries around your time, availability and attention so the business does not automatically receive everything you have.
Create somewhere to think
Sometimes what is missing isn’t another tool. It is protected space to step out of the day-to-day noise, think clearly and decide what actually matters next.
The aim isn’t to make you better at carrying everything. It’s to reduce how much has to be carried by you in the first place.
Sometimes the practical backlog is part of the pressure
