You're functioning, but maintaining that performance is consuming more energy, time or personal capacity than it used to. The work is about understanding what's consuming that capacity — and changing the things that can actually be changed.
Capable people rarely lose the ability to do their job. What changes is how much it takes out of them to keep doing it — and how little is left over afterwards.
Capacity can be consumed by far more than the visible workload. For example:
The aim isn't to find a way to fit more in. It's to make enough room to carry what matters without having to carry everything.
When you need space to make sense of what's happening.
A confidential, independent sounding board when you're too close to the situation to see it clearly.
Clarity before action.
When knowing what needs to happen isn't the same as being able to make it happen.
Structuring a problem, mapping priorities, preparing for a difficult conversation or creating a workable plan — and staying alongside you while you do it.
Not another action plan to add to the pile.
When the accumulated load has become part of the problem.
Where appropriate, working alongside you to reduce the immediate load, create order and build a way of managing it that you can sustain.
Pressure Release → Reset → System → Independence
It's to help you regain control.
Look honestly at what is consuming your time, attention and energy — including the things quietly taking more than you realise.
Address the demands, systems and boundaries that are holding the pressure where it is: what can be stopped, reduced, delegated, simplified or done differently.
Build a way of recognising and responding earlier, so the same pattern doesn't quietly return once things get busy again.
If you'd like to understand the thinking behind this, the Understanding Capacity page explains how Kyanite approaches capacity more generally.
Tell me enough to start the conversation. We can work out the rest privately.
A first conversation is not a commitment to anything. It is an opportunity to understand what is happening and whether Kyanite can help.
Independent, non-clinical. Your employer does not need to refer you.
Whether you'd like to ask something first or you're ready to find a time, it starts in the same private space.
